Land Rover has officially announced that the small LRX will be produced starting in 2011, the Halewood factory. With the recent advance that the presentation would be scheduled for 17 June 2010, then get an official confirmation on the future plans for compact house, which will be marketed in over 100 markets around the world.

The LRX concept, which will be “the most efficient Land Rover ever designed”, was created to unite the character of an SUV and offroad performance of Terrain Response to smaller size and more sporting lines, able to wink to the public of sports hatchback, as do today Mercedes GLK and Audi Q5.

Certainly the use of at least one propeller, a drive full-hybrid, with start & stop and regenerative braking, able to march the car in all-electric mode. The goal is to offer half with emissions significantly lower than most of today’s sport utility.
